Drag the model. Turn the product.

LOOMA.

A concept product page for a multi-seller fashion marketplace, built around one interaction: drag the model and the outfit turns a full 360 degrees, in every colorway. The model, the stills and the turntable clips are AI-generated; the viewer, the color system and the page are built in-house. LOOMA and its seller are placeholder names.

// 01 · THE VIEWER

360 degrees, one drag.

48 frames per colorway · drag or swipe

Drag left or right and the model turns with your hand, frame for frame. On a phone the swipe is locked to the rotation, so the page never scrolls away mid-spin, and the figure always shows head to toe, whatever the screen shape.

// 02 · COLORWAYS

Four colors, and everything follows.

04 colorways · 360, gallery, lookbook, title

Pick Pine, Ink, Sand or Brick and the whole page changes with it: the 360, every gallery image, the lookbook and the product name. The other colors load in the background while you look, so a switch is a short fade, not a wait.

// 03 · CLIP TO SEQUENCE

From an 8-second clip to a spinnable product.

keyframe → turntable → 48 frames

Each colorway starts as a still and an 8-second turntable clip generated with Gemini. We cut every clip into 48 evenly spaced frames, trim the edges and draw them on a canvas. Scrubbing a video file by hand proved unreliable across browsers and servers; a frame sequence is exact and starts instantly.

// 04 · WHAT WE TRIED FIRST

Judge motion as motion.

recolor tests · before / after

The first colorways were recolored from the green set. As stills they hold up, and they still power the gallery. Recoloring a spin frame by frame was another story: the fabric shimmered in motion even though every sampled frame looked fine. So each color got its own turntable, and we kept the lesson: check moving work as a moving thing.
